Engineering and Management Services for the Environment

PECSIE, the design and engineering subsidiary of Tredi S.A., provides engineering services to all nine TREDI treatment centres.
These treatment centres handle toxic and non-toxic industrial wastes, hospital wastes and some household wastes in several different types and sizes of plant.  The technologies include incineration, physico-chemical treatment and, where possible, recovery and reuse.

PECSIE uses this technical experience and know-how to guide clients, whether private or public sector, in the selection of the best technical solutions.  PECSIE helps clients to design, operate and manage their plants properly, and to make the optimum use of financial and technical resources.

Aware of the increasing importance of environmental conventions and laws, PECSIE has developed with TREDI and several specialised equipment suppliers, state of the art systems to scrub flue gases, treat waste water, and eliminate odours from waste reception and storage pits.  These systems meet the most stringent EC environmental standards.

PECSIE's revenue in 1995 was 68 million FRF with staff of 60.
