A HISTORY OF TECHNOLOGICAL EXCELLENCE
Beginning with the introduction of its first commercial system in 1986, Vesta has consisently demonstrated that mobile incineration provides a cost effective alternative to off-site treatment.
The Vesta 80 Mobile Thermal Destruction Unit was the forerunner for the technology that has enabled Vesta to keep ahead of the most stringent regulations.

Following in the footsteps of the Vesta 80, the Vesta 100 was first used to incinerate pesticide wastes from an abandoned crop dusting air strip, the Southern Crop Services Superfunf Site, in Delray Beach, Florida. The Vesta 100 proved effective at treating the waste and remaining well within the emissions standards for HCL and particulate.
In the progressive development ofr the technology, Vesta added equipment to continuously monitor and record stack emissions of Oxygen (O2), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Vesta also introduced the oxygen-fired burner for increased scrubber efficiency, and hotter, cleaner incineration.
The Vesta 200 is capable of a throughput of up to 8000 pounds per hour. Its design includes a second-generation oxygen-enriched/ low Nox burner, co-current secondary combustion chamber, and an ionizing wet scrubber.

Wastewater, another by-product of incineration, is also subject to ever more stringent discharge limits. Two cooling towers, a filter press, an activated carbon filter and particulate removal system are part of the Vesta 200. |

Vesta has participated in many projects to safeguard the world's environment. For each project Vesta's operations have been measured and monitored by a combination of test burns, demonstration tests, continuous monitoring of the stack, and air quality monitoring of the work area, personnel, and surrounding community.
Through the progressive development of three operating units, varying wastestreams, and diverse site conditions, Vesta has consistently shown Destruction Removal Efficiencies (DRE's) several orders of magnitude above that required by regulations Twelve documented tests performed by independent testing organisations reflect an average particulate emission of 0.01 grains per Dry Standard Cubic Foot (approximately 24mg/nm3). Simply put, Vesta Technology achieves the strictest of standards with room to spare. Technology is the answer and Vesta has the technology.

There are many ways to treat and dispose of wastes. However - some wastes can only effectively be disposed of by thermal treatment/incineration.
In those cases where the only option is to incinerate, it makes sense to use an incineration company with a proven track record for safety and effectiveness, with an environmental conscience, with the technology that has the ability to achieve the most stringent emission standards in the world:
